Key Responsibilities

As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining the reliability, scalability, and security of Oracle's cloud services. Key duties include:

  • Design, deploy, and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure with a focus on resilience and scalability.
  • Write, debug, and maintain software applications and operating systems.

  • Ensure the reliability and performance of Oracle's key cloud services and platforms.

What You Bring to the Table

We are seeking individuals who are highly motivated problem-solvers, eager to work independently while collaborating effectively with partner teams. To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Educational Qualification: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Strong scripting skills: Proficiency in one or more of the following: Java, Python, Shell scripting, or similar.
  • Experience with microservices architecture: Understanding and experience with Linux administration, Oracle databases, and CI/CD pipeline concepts.
  • Cloud technologies expertise: Knowledge of Chef, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, and similar technologies.
  • Automation experience: Previous experience with writing automation utilities to streamline workloads is a plus.
  • Communication skills: Ability to participate in technical discussions and articulate complex ideas clearly.
  • Willingness to learn: A readiness to acquire new skills and knowledge quickly in a fast-paced environment.
