Roles and Responsibilities

As a Management Trainee at Genpact, you will be responsible for:

• Purchase Order Validation: Validate Purchase Order (PO) requests to ensure accurate billing and efficient order processing.
• Client Interaction: Regularly interact with clients to gather feedback, provide support, and ensure client satisfaction at all times.
• Order to Cash Management: Handle processes related to collections, dispute management, and enforce strategies to streamline operations.
• Customer Communication: Communicate with end customers via phone calls and emails to collect overdue payments and maintain strong relationships.
• Meeting Collection Targets: Achieve monthly, quarterly, and yearly collection targets, ensuring compliance with company goals.
• Relationship Management: Manage relationships with country and regional financial directors through emails, faxes, and conference calls.
• Governance Meetings: Participate in governance meetings and collaborate with regional financial managers to ensure business alignment.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and drive implementation of Lean and Six Sigma projects.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to meet deliverables, foster collaboration, and contribute to maintaining high process standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Educational Background: A B.Com degree is required, with an MBA in Finance being preferred.
• Order to Cash Experience: Knowledge of Order to Cash processes and related areas, even in an academic setting, will be beneficial.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with clients, teams, and stakeholders.
• MS Office Proficiency: Strong proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly MS Excel, to manage data and create reports.
• Analytical Skills: The ability to analyze data, identify trends, and propose improvements in business processes.
• Collaboration: A team-oriented approach and the ability to work well with cross-functional teams to ensure operational excellence.
