Key Responsibilities
As a Software Developer – R&D Engineer, your main responsibilities will include:
- Software Development: Design, develop, and test desktop applications using the .Net framework and C#. You will be responsible for implementing new components into tools and user interfaces using React.
- Database Management: Write SQL stored procedures, queries, views, and functions to extract and manipulate data from databases.
- Bug Fixing and Debugging: Identify and resolve both critical and non-critical bugs reported during the development lifecycle.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Technology Center (TC), design teams, and factories to successfully implement new design systems and ensure product quality.
- Documentation: Create user-friendly documentation for developers and end-users to facilitate a smooth development process and product understanding.
- Software Architecture: Participate in defining the architecture of the software and ensure clean, efficient, and scalable code is written.
- Testing and Validation: Validate software components, prepare final installation packages, and test applications before production release.
- Technical Support: Provide technical assistance on the product to the users and collaborate with the Technology Center development team.
- Occasional Travel: Be available for occasional travel (< 25%) between factories to support various project needs.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should possess the following skills:
- Proficiency in Programming Languages: Strong knowledge of C, C++, Java, and Python programming languages.
- Experience with .Net Framework: In-depth understanding of .Net frameworks and SQL databases.
- Front-End Development: Hands-on experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, React.js, and Redux.
- Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC): Familiarity with SDLC concepts, coding standards, and best practices.
- Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong debugging and problem-solving skills to tackle complex software issues.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
