Roles and Responsibilities
As an Engineering Apprentice at Trellix, you will be responsible for supporting various engineering processes. Your key responsibilities will include:
Requirement Gathering: You will collaborate with different teams and stakeholders within the business to gather requirements and understand project objectives.
Platform Validation: Stay updated with new platform features and releases. You will validate platform performance and functionality, identifying and reporting bugs or issues.
Functional Testing: You will be responsible for identifying and testing every function of a product to ensure that it matches the required specifications and delivers optimal performance.
Test Planning: Collaborate with project stakeholders to define test objectives, strategies, and comprehensive test plans.
Test Case Development: Create detailed test cases, test scripts, and test data sets that cover various scenarios and use cases to ensure thorough testing of the platform.
Regression Testing: Perform regression testing to ensure that updates to the Salesforce system do not negatively affect existing functionalities.
Defect Management: Log, track, and manage defects identified during the testing process. Collaborate with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
UAT Testing Support: Assist User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by providing screenshots, test case flow, and other necessary documentation to help testers effectively carry out their tasks.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
Educational Qualification: A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. The eligible graduation year is between 2022 to 2024.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential. You will interact with different teams and stakeholders, so being able to articulate your thoughts clearly is critical.
Multi-tasking Abilities: You should be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, meet deadlines, and maintain composure under pressure. Time management and organizational skills are key.
Eagerness to Learn: This role requires a keen interest in learning new technologies, processes, and tools. You should have a growth mindset and a willingness to take on new challenges.

Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor’s Degree: Candidates must have graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Graduation Year: Only candidates who graduated between 2022 to 2024 are eligible to apply for this role.
- Postgraduates: This program is exclusively for graduates. Postgraduate candidates are not eligible for this apprentice position.
