Job Role: Cloud DevOps Engineer
As a Cloud DevOps Engineer, you will be a key part of Teradata’s Cloud Shared Services team, developing, automating, and managing cloud infrastructure solutions. This role involves maintaining core services like Identity Access Management (IAM), Privileged Access Management (PAM), and other cloud service provider governance functions. You’ll play an essential role in automating processes, managing network functions, and implementing solutions within CI/CD pipelines. Additionally, you will be instrumental in maintaining FedRAMP-compliant cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deploy cloud-based solutions, working with key services such as AWS IAM, AWS Secrets Manager, and Azure Entra.
- Automate identity management, network management, and governance tasks for cloud services.
- Create and manage CI/CD pipelines integrated with GitHub and GitLab.
- Troubleshoot and optimize cloud environments for better scalability and efficiency.
- Provide support for network load balancers, firewalls, and serverless solutions (AWS Lambda).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement least-privileged access and maintain security compliance.
- Maintain detailed technical documentation for all cloud services and automated processes.
Eligibility & Experience
- Qualification: BE/B. Tech in a relevant field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cloud Development or Operations role.
- Hands-on experience with cloud service providers, particularly AWS and Azure, and a deep understanding of their services such as Route53, VPC, EC2, and DynamoDB.
- Proficient in cloud automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or GitHub/GitLab.
- Experience in Single Sign-on (SSO) technologies like SAML 2.0 and Token-based authentication.
- Experience with security and monitoring in cloud environments.
Skills You’ll Bring:
- Cloud Service Management: Knowledge of AWS IAM, Azure Entra, and experience with Serverless architectures like AWS Lambda.
- Automation Expertise: Proven ability to work with CI/CD tools like GitHub, GitLab, and infrastructure-as-code platforms such as Terraform and Ansible.
- Networking & Security: Proficient in configuring network load balancers, firewalls, and cloud-based monitoring solutions.
- Agile Development: Experience working in an Agile environment, with the ability to deliver efficient solutions in fast-paced teams.
