Emerson is looking for enthusiastic Graduate Engineer Trainees to join their Industrial Software COE team in Pune. This is an excellent opportunity for B.E./B.Tech students in Chemical Engineering, Petrochemical, Polymer, or Petroleum Engineering who are currently in their VIIth or VIIIth semester.

Position: Graduate Engineer Trainee (Chemical Engineering)

Location: Pune, Maharashtra, India
Experience: 0 years (Freshers)

Key Responsibilities:

• Undergo training on technology and products offered by Industrial Software CoE.
• Assist mentors in completing project work or initiatives.
• Report progress periodically to mentors from both Emerson and your educational institute.
• Complete all academic requirements in collaboration with your academic mentor.
• Prepare and submit a report of work performed during the internship.

Required Skills:

• Fluency in English (both written and verbal).
• Ability to read P&IDs (Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams) and PFDs (Process Flow Diagrams).
• Proficiency with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
• Knowledge of unit operations, process equipment design, numerical analysis methods, and industrial stoichiometry.
• Experience in Microsoft Excel VBA Macro Development and/or Microsoft Access is a plus.

• Strong communication skills.
• Self-awareness and commitment to self-development.
• Ability to work effectively within a team.
